JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At Ester Mosesson's High School, we work with a clear student focus, where knowledge and skills are placed in a context that creates motivation and engagement. Additionally, we are proud of our international operations and the practical experiences we can offer our students. The school has two restaurants, a food market, as well as a bakery, pastry shop, and café, all run by students as part of their education.

We are now looking for a committed and service-oriented housekeeper who wants to play an important role in maintaining a well-functioning and pleasant environment at Ester Mosesson's High School. In this key position, you will be responsible for the daily operations within our service areas and actively contribute to the school's positive atmosphere. You will be part of our production team responsible for service and maintenance of the school's extensive operations.

Your main tasks include planning and executing laundry and dish management to ensure high quality. In case of illness, you are prepared to independently participate in laundry, dish, and cleaning work in various parts of the school, highlighting your flexibility and team spirit. You will also be responsible for washing all school textiles, including tablecloths, work clothes, and restaurant textiles, with a focus on quality and presentation. Your tasks include ironing tablecloths and work clothes, as well as minor repairs of work clothes as needed. You will manage the distribution and maintenance of work clothes for both our students and staff. Regular inventory of work clothes, cleaning materials, and storage equipment is part of the job, as well as responsibility for ordering and replenishing consumables in our production facilities.

You will contribute to quality assurance of cleaning according to the guidelines of the Work Environment Authority and will be an integral part of the production team during breaks and at larger events such as open houses, competitions, and school graduations. Other tasks may also occur during holiday periods as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed and thrive in the role of Housekeeper with us at Ester Mosesson's High School, we hope you possess the following skills and experiences:

• You have solid experience in laundry, dishwashing, and cleaning, and it is an advantage if you have also worked in the restaurant or hotel industry. We prefer that you have relevant education in cleaning, hygiene, or another equivalent field.
• We are looking for someone who is meticulous, works focused, and cares about details, and who enjoys working independently while being an important part of a team. You ensure that the work is done correctly. You check and follow up on your work to ensure it maintains high quality. You understand the common mission and work to make it as good as possible.
• You have good machine skills and experience working with various types of cleaning machines. You work independently with a good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your tasks effectively. You have a good command of Swedish in both speech and writing, which is important in daily communication with colleagues and students.
• You are friendly and helpful to others even in a stressful situation. You show respect for everyone you meet at work. You are inviting and positive. You work to ensure that the student/customer/user gets what they need with professionalism and a sense of service.
• You can change how you work when things change. You can quickly adjust your perspective and approach and see opportunities in changes. You are flexible in your working methods, have a solution-oriented attitude towards any challenges that may arise. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive the work forward.
